Healthcare Infographic Design Receives National Recognition
Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) Magazine has awarded R&J the American Health + Wellness Design Award for an infographic developed for RWJ Barnabas Health. The infographic, designed by our creative team, educated the public about the signs, risks, and treatment options for colon cancer while utilizing and expanding upon the RWJ Barnabas Health branding system.
“Our creative team executes great work for our clients whether it’s for their websites, advertisements or collateral and we’re proud to be recognized by such a prestigious organization for this work,” President of R&J Strategic Communications John Lonsdorf, said. “Not only does it validate the quality of our design capabilities, but it reinforces our company mission to make a difference for our clients, and for the community as well.”
The award-winning infographic transformed complex medical data and statistics into simple, educational, and easily-digestible content. With custom, descriptive iconography, eye-catching graphics, and segmented information, the infographic effectively communicated to the public important details regarding colon cancer warning signs, screening options, and ways to reduce your risk of developing colon cancer.
Graphic Design USA Magazine bestows the American Health + Wellness Design Award for outstanding graphic communication every year for the last three years. One hundred projects are recognized for encompassing the “big picture of health” including nutrition, healthy lifestyles, healthcare and medicine. Our website was recognized by GDUSA in 2015 in the web design competition, but this marks the first win for R&J in the health and wellness category.
