Dexter Cheng Receives Make a Difference Award
The Make a Difference Award for Q1 of 2021 was presented to Creative and Digital Coordinator, Dexter Cheng. Originating from the agency’s brand statement, the Make a Difference Award is given to an employee who goes above and beyond making a difference for the agency, its clients and in the community.
Since joining R&J in 2019, Dexter has excelled in all facets of his position and quickly made himself invaluable to clients and colleagues alike. His exceptional work has made a meaningful difference for R&J clients, bolstering the quality of R&J’s creative and digital services. Dexter is a dual-threat, with considerable talents in both graphic design and web development. As such, he contributes to website design and development, advertising campaigns, organic and paid social initiatives and numerous other digital and creative projects.
Dexter has also had positive impacts on the agency’s culture. Prior to and during the pandemic, he has been proactive in organizing agency-wide events to bolster team morale and is a driving force behind the agency’s social justice initiatives. Additionally, Dexter is always quick to think out of the box when it comes to ways to bolster the agency’s tech tools and processes.
In presenting him with the Make a Difference Award, we applaud Dexter’s dedication to making a difference in the agency and bringing value to its clients every day. In honor of Dexter’s award, the agency will be making a donation to the Asian Mental Health Collective (AMHC). AMHC strives to normalize and de-stigmatize mental health within Asian communities by making mental health easily available, approachable, and accessible worldwide. Congratulations to Dexter Cheng, the recipient of the Make a Difference Award!
